I agree with natalie2005greg that it is as a result of jealousy & with all those that say girls can be viciously verbal - although my son is getting verbal abuse from boys at the moment.

I have had both and to tell you the truth it's pretty much the same. Girls can be really nasty and horrible but i suppose horrible comments from boys can damage the way you have relationships with boys in the future. With physical I've never been hit or punched but my friend was and at least those scars can heal i think it is more about the scarring in your mind that you can't proper touch without probably help. For me a serious lack of confidence is damaging enough.

Having lived through 6 years of it there is no difference whether it is boys or girls that are doing the bullying, and verbal abuse can be just as damaging as physical abuse.

Any bullying is traumatic. Boys tend to be physical. Girls can be very mentally damaging.
Physical bullying, the marks go away. But mental abuse scars.
I detest bullying and feel very sorry for people who are bullied.
I think bullying is a result of jealousy.

Bullying at school by boys or girls are just as bad as each other. But girls can be that bit more evil.Verbal bullying can sometimes be worst than physical as people can say really personal hurtful things that mess with your mind!

Not sure if eirther is worse, but girls can be much nastier when it comes to verbal bullying.
Bullying is just awful and having been through it I couldn't say which is worse as I was bullied by both sexes!

As a girl I can say it straight away that girls are the worst. Like, a guy will punch you in the arm, call you some names, and then call it quits. But a girl will **** inside your soul and basically make you not even know who you are anymore. The rule here is this: Boys **** things up, Girls are fucked up.
Also, stick and stones may break your bones, but the words will leave psychological wounds that will never heal.

It's all the same!! I feel bad for bullies, they have such low self esteem. Next time ya see a bully, try and give em' a hug!! Can you imagine how awful it must feel to be them??? How do you go through life hating yourself?? I say hug em' all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
