Go around to your local businesses and ask them if they would like to sponsor your team. Maybe you will have better luck if you have more than one. Can ask fire-men, Lions Club and the like, hospitals etc. Especially if you are willing as a group to do some charity work. Give a car wash. Our students here do that at our WalMart parking lot. Could serve brats/soda, hot dogs, while they wait. Have walmart donate the food. Can list all contributors in the newspaper thanking them. Get permission from a business to collect donations in front of their business. Dress up in your uniforms and put up a banner, decorate your collection containers in your colors. Few ideas, hope it helps ya.

You can get a company to sponsor your team by having their name or logo on the team uniform. Collect beer bottles fund raiser. Get the parents involved.

There is a longer term solution that will solve your problem for years to come. It's a fundraiser webpage with a network marketing strategy. Use the income to support the team. Get a domain name with your team name, put up a website. The best part is you get to re-sell the service for a commission. So you get as many parents and / or team mebmers to join your fund raiser. If everybody in your organization can afford ten dollars a month, then next year you will most likey have a good budget for your team. Plus, anyone who joins your fund raiser will earn money as well by them getting other people involved also. I can provide you more information if you like. I'm doing it. I've been doing it for 4 months now. I am only making a small profit per month so far, but for the last 3 months my profit per month has increased. I make more than the cost of the business, so it's basically free now anyway. My theme is not a fund raiser, but I use the same online company to build my monthly income.

You will have your own website. You put on it whatever you like. In your case, it may be your team, pictures, bio's, members. A link to have people sign up to your fund raiser. This person should be a parent or other type of member of your organization. Build up a membership in a strategic manner. The people that join your fund raiser will also make commissions when they have people join under them. When you become a member, your website is yours to do with what you like. This is your address for life. So when you set up you domain name, pick a domain name that makes sense.

Also look at the company I use to do this. http://www.homeforwork.ws - The domain name is mine. I get it from this company. I just forwarded it to my online business page instead. I can change it anytime I like to whatever I want. I can also add many other webpages to it. I can help you do this if you like. I think it would be a fun project. If your not sure on how to build a site, I can do it for you. I'm not even going to charge you. Just provide pics and info for it. You can use this company for any fund raiser you want.
