I absolutely think Arbonne products are "as good as they say". For the type of skin you are describing, you might want to get a sample or two of the Not-So-Basic Face system - it is self-adjusting to your specific skin type and given the proper amount of time (as with any product) you should see noticeable differences. I have started using the RE9 system (my skin was a combo-oily type) and after a couple of weeks I saw a complete change in my skin. It isn't oily anymore, but it's not dried out, either. Plus, the RE9 is great for prevention of anti-aging as well - that's what the line is for! Bottom line - all the products I have tried through them have more than met my expectations, and I am an extremely discriminating shopper. It takes a lot for me to say that I will probably never use anything other then Arbonne from now on. Please e-mail me is you'd like some samples. You should always try before you buy!!
In response to girlinchucktown: you HAVE to give anything youtry more than once to see if it actually works. The following suggestions are right off of the Arbonne.com website:
How long have you been using the system? Consider that the normal process of new skin cells rising to the surface – cell turnover rate – takes 30-60 days; therefore, you may not see the new cells that are stimulated by the products for as long as two months.
There is an initial period of adjustment that skin goes through any time you switch products or begin using a new system. This is completely normal and varies in duration, because everyone’s skin is different. It can take about four to six weeks for the skin to adjust to new products. During this process, it is normal to have new breakouts, additional breakouts, or a different reaction of some sort because the products are very concentrated and will bring impurities up to the surface of your skin.
Our suggestions are as follows:
Consider the amount of product used for application. Because they are so concentrated, it is a lot for your skin to metabolize all at once. We suggest starting with as little as possible and building up from there to meet the needs of your skin.
Consider the frequency of use. Perhaps using the products every other day or once a day, instead of twice, can prove to be beneficial during the first few weeks of use.
Sometimes it is helpful to introduce the products one at a time. This way, if there is any sensitivity, you can easily identify which product may have triggered it and make the appropriate adjustments.
Performing a patch test can also help to determine which product may be the cause for the sensitivity. Apply a small amount of product on the upper, inner arm, then cover with a bandage and leave on overnight. The next morning, look for any signs of irritation, such as redness, itchiness, etc.

Everybody is different I do believe Arbonne is a try before you by company so you can find a local rep to give you samples or let you try the products. I sell Mary Kay and would be happy to send you sample of that if your interested. it is a hard thing to tell everyone has different experience I know people that swear by proactive and other that say it dried them out same with Arbonne and Mary Kay some like it some don't get some samples and decide what works best for you. Good Luck.

It's just one of those things that can work for you or it can make your skin break out even worse. I would try it because I do know that they are pricey. If it works it would be a great investment but if it doesn't you might be upset. I personally sale Sensaria Natural Bodycare and use their skin care line. Not only did it clear up any signs of acne but it got rid of my scars. And this was just using the cleanser. Our products are a lot like Arbonne's and I have never heard of any negative reaction to the cleanser. Which is only like $15. I could send you a sample if you'd like. Look at my website if you're interested...www.sensaria.com/shalisha Forgive me if I sound pushy. I'm not trying to force my company on you it was just a suggestion. Good luck!

Arbonne's products are fabulous. You can see before and after pictures of real clients who have used the products.
If you already have a consultant, ask them for a free sample. They are available with both lines, the Not So Basic and the Anti-aging. I always give a sample out to everyone who's interested and willing to give feedback.
If you don't have a consultant already, I'd be happy to send one to you.
You can also click on my website which will give you more information about all of the products Arbonne has to offer.

I used the face cleansing system ONCE that they have and my face broke out for a month b/c of it. The skin around my eyes and mouth began to peel and flake and the pain was excruciating; it felt like it stripped the skin away. This was simply my personal experience, and I will never try it again. But I think it will depend on your own skin and natural oils. I do not have very dry skin, and its not really oily; more combo. You could try a sample of their products if you'd like to find out for yourself without actually purchasing all the products.
