Hi There,

I had a 360 degree spinal fusion done on L2-L3 2 years ago, I was up and walking the day after my surgery with the use of a walker. I was walking without walker about 2 weeks after the surgery.

I really don't think what you are experiencing is normal. You should be able to walk. Have you discussed this with your doctor? Are you able to bear weight on your legs at all, or are you bedridden? You really need to be able to get up and move around to make a full recovery.

Good Luck!

I had a fusion years ago. 12-5 T.. 7 fused. No problem . Didn't walk for 3 months, maybe 4. what does your doctor say? Get a walker and try walking a little everyday. You need to strengthen your leg muscles.
