Hi Tiny was made by Time Computers but they went bust either last year or the year before. Not surprised to be honest. I bought a printer from them and it went wrong the next day, took it back and they wouldn't give me an exchange or my money back. They said the warranty was with the manufacturer. I got them to ring the manufacturer hp, while i was there. HP said that their obligation was to act after 28 days not 1 day and responsibilty was with the shop. The manager was very calm when I nearly throw him against the wall to get my 50 quid back. He then said that as it was in the sale I wasn't entitled to a refund. No problem I said, I will buy a more expensive printer. Can't do that he said I culd only exchange it for the same model and they didn't have any.

Eventually I said that if he didn't give me my money back I would stand outside their shop all weekend and stop every customer coming into the store and tell them of my ordeal. He said he would have me arrested. Good I said, will give them something to arrest me for, lol. Eventually after an hour and the manager speaking to his boss I got my money back. Went to PC World bought an hp printer and they give me an extended warranty for 10 quid. I asked them what happened if it went wrong and they said bring it in and we'll sort it. After a week the same fault happened with this printer, took it in. The complementary printer cartrdiges were empty. Could have saved myself some hassle with the first printer. 3 months later I went to buy a new mobile phone from the O2 shop. The manager from Tiny was now at 02 and he recognised me. ent and bought from carphone warehouse instead lol. Ooops, gone off track a bit here. Yur best option if the pc is still ok would be to get a new re-writer off ebay or somewhere similar. They bery easy to fit or you could get an external one which will plug into your usb socket

You could try going to the following link and signing up to the forum there. Then pose the question on the technical forum. it's not an area that I know a lot about but you can override the settings. I think there is a programme to allow you to do this without a full reinstall of Windows. It costs nothing to join the forums and they have some great tech guys there. Hope this helps. http://www.micromart.co.uk/

Hi. You're stuck I'm afraid. The region settings, which are on your DVD player, only allow a maximum of 5 changes of region, then lock up on the fifth. There is no way that I know of to change it.

Use DVD Region-Free to make your region locked DVD drive and your software player region free. You can also 'patch' your DVD drives firmware, you can also try a patched DVD drive firmware (it is freeware, but may be a bit tricky and 'dangerous').

To find oout maker's name, remove and check for any faceplate on DVD player itself.
