how big is the impact of selling mirrors when the boxes are in another section.?

at work mirrors are displayed on a shelf in a bath & body department but the boxes for the mirrors r in another section.

The only reason for any impact would be if it's a 10 minute round trip to get the box for the mirror while a customer is waiting. I would suggest to supervisor to stock boxes in close proximity to the mirrors . That is the logical thing to do.
