Success means different things to different people. some measure it by materialistic possessions while others have a more ontological perspective measured in terms of peace of mind, happiness etc.

"Success" means different things to different people. What one person considers a successful life, I might see as a complete waste of time.

For example: Some people might say I had a successful life. At age 20 I bought my own home, I had a job which paid more to start than most people with a degree could earn fresh from college, I drove a new car, etc... but it was nothing to me.

I am disabled now, on a fixed income, with two kids... and I consider myself to be successful now. I am a great mother, I'm honest to myself and to everyone else, I don't follow the dog who barks the loudest (I fight for what I believe in), and I believe in myself. I teach my kids the same thing. People admire me for my strength in adversity, not my ability to manipulate; and my accomplishments gotten purely through hard work, not what I have because I had to work a lot of overtime to pay for it.

"Things" can be lost or taken away. When all is said and done, what will you be left with?

Successful life does not mean life without mistakes, errors and failure.It actually means life in which you learnt to avoid mistakes, improve your work, your quality of work accompanied by quantity.Successful life is a life in which you made use of everyday, every hour, every second.We learn many things in a day, but we hardly care to make good out of it.
Successfull life is one which SATISFIES YOU, your family, your needs.S L means happiness, your hapiness.
Try to make your work better than before,then good and finally the best...Work hard when others take rest...then success will be your guest!

Sucessful life is the one that has no regrets..When you are happy and can proudly say i have achieved what i wanted on my own...you have no repentence that had this happened or thta happened. Successful are those who don't wait for things to happen rather who makes things happen.

Take time to live, its a secret of success,
Take time to think, its a source of power,
Take time to play, its a secret of youth,
Take time to read, its a foundation of wisdom,
Take time to be friendly, its a road to happiness,
Take time to laugh, it helps to lift loads,
Take time to dream, it can show you the way,
Take time to love, it needs to be nurtured,
Take time to give, it is too short a day to be selfish.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
To laugh often and love much;
To win the respect of intelligent persons and affection of children;
To earn the approbation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends;
To appreciate the beauty;
To find the best in others;
To give of one's self;
To leave the world a little better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition;
To have played and laughed with enthusiasm and sung with exultation;
To know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived-
This is to have succeeded!
