I wouldnt tell them if it doesnt show, if it was minor then the statue of limitations is already over and off your record.

This is a hard one. I do agree with the previous answer, but it does bring to mind about what happened to my friend. She applied for a part time job at a department store. She had a DUI about 7 years ago. She thought that it would not be able to be traced, so when they asked her if she had ever been convicted of a felony or misdemeanor she told them no. Well, they called her and offered her the job. She worked two days and then they called her and told her they had to dismiss her, because they found her DUI from a more extensive background check. My thought is if a Department store goes to that much trouble, what will a Bank do. I think I would go ahead and tell them. They will probably do a drug screen, if you are clean then you don't have to worry. I would be willing to bet, that the person interviewing you has smoked marijuana at least once before. GOOD LUCK

NO. Don't tell them about it. Many times, companies do not even run background checks for entry level employees. For a bank, I am sure they would but if you tell them, they might disqualify you for the position right away. If it is going to be an issue, let the bank find lut for themselves.

It won't matter, even in the US.
First, I'm canadian and, unlike the US, companies cannot demand a drug test unless the position involves a safety issue or international travel.A bank does not qualify. But even in the US, it's the drug test that matters. The only legal issues they are concerned about would be past convictions for theft, fraud, embezzlement, ... (you get the idea) Assault, vandalism, trivial drug possession, ... doesn't matter to them.

If they ask, be honest. Don't lie, because that would make it worse for you. But if they don't ask, I don't see how you are under any obligation to tell them.
