As put forth in the film, the "Law of Attraction" principle posits that our feelings and thoughts attract real events in the world into our lives; from the workings of the entire cosmos to interactions among individuals in their physical, emotional, and professional affairs. The film also suggests that there has been a conspiracy to keep this central principle hidden from the public. The previews or "clues" to the film, show men who "uncovered the Secret...". On the DVD, Rhonda Byrne, creator, explains that she got inspired to create The Secret after reading the 1910 classic The Science of Getting Rich by Wallace D. Wattles. This title is at least preceded by the 1906 book (republished in 2006) Thought Vibration or the Law of Attraction in the Thought World by William Walker Atkinson, editor of New Thought magazine.

You make your own reality. Everything in your life and every thing you ever will be is the result of choices you make yourself. A true warrior knows this and structures their life around the knowledge that they choose their own path in life.

Some paths are terrible and others filled with wonder, it is solely determined by the one who walks that path. Why, I ask, do you choose to walk a path that does not strengthen you, that does not fill you with joy and wonder and happiness? Why do you choose to walk a path that is one of strife and pain?

All paths lead the same place eventually, to the door to the next level of our existence. But how we get to that door and the strength of our soul when we get there is determined by which path we choose to walk and how we walked it. Did we walk our life's path with honor and courage or did we slink along the path, ashamed of our every action and thought? Did we walk in fear, frightened by the magnificence of the world around us or did we take each breath with gusto and enjoy the thrill of our lives?

You are what you make of yourself. Thoughtful and kind, weak minded and mean, those are your choices to make. As the knight in the Indiana Jones movie 'The Last Crusade' said "Choose Wisely!"
