Wow, i don't actually expect you to read this seeing as how you have 20 other replies already but here i guess... love in general (romantic or family wise) is how much you care for that person. Care enough to die for really. I asked myself if i loved my parent's and asked myself if i would die for them. I kept thinking about all the things i would do to keep them safe and i guess it meant i did love them because i couldn't think of something i wouldn't do for them. I'm really just saying that you can determine how much you love that person by seeing how much you can sacrifice for them but that's not always necessarily true. Although I'm not saying that the person you love is the person you'll always get along with. I don't believe in the whole soul mate or "there's ALWAYS going to be this ONE person out there for you" kind of thing. Love isnt a just a myth or part of a fairytale. There are no guarantees. Hmm, love just can't be described. At least not just by words.

This is how I can describe what love is,,,but note that everyone will feel different on what love should feel like... When i wake up thinking about that person,,when all i can think of doing is calling that person or just being with her/him, even when i just was with that person 10 min ago and i start to miss her/him that is when I will know that i'm in love..

Love is a feeling like no other, There are many kinds of love.
The love a parent feels for their child I believe supersedes all other kinds of love. That is a love that kindles in your heart the desire to protect and would willingly do it to the death. Then there is the love for your spouse or partner , this love is different and causes you to be extremely happy and secure if it is true. Then the love you have for your parents. as well as your friends. It causes you to hurt when they hurt and rejoice when they have good fortune. I believe in love without it the world would hold no meaning
