The only thing that you really need is a rear facing infant car seat. If you have not already set it up, or if you are not sure how to do this, ask a nurse from the delivery department, they will be happy to show you and get you set up.
You will also need a fresh set of clothes. DO NOT grab your "fat" jeans and a cute shirt. You will want a maternity outfit that fit you going in. Also, if you have not already, you might want to pick up a pack or two of cheap "granny Panites". You do not want to ruin anything cute by the lovely discharge that you will have after you deliver. You might want to try to get a couple of pairs of disposable panties from the hospital as well.
As for infant clothes, you will be ok with onsies and diapers for a while. Assuming that you are not delivering in Alaska, you will want acess to the diaper which you will be changing non-stop.

You can take a book to read while you are in labor, take the carseat for the baby, an outfit and hat for the baby to come home in, some comfy clothes for you to lounge in and come home in, take the baby book so they can put the footprints in it for you, take some hard candy to suck on while in labor, take a notebook to write down your thoughts about labor and delivery and thoughts about your new baby, take some snacks for the father to be so he doesn't have to leave your side to get snacks, list of family and friends phone numbers so they can be contacted after the birth of the baby, you may want to take some diapers, little socks, some t-shirts for the baby, just anything you think you may need. I hope i helped out some. Good Luck.

you will want most of the things that the others have listed but depending on where you r you will defiantly want diapers for baby because the hospitals usually only supply the first one also you might want to pack a tennis ball for in case the labor pains go to your back so who ever is in the delivery room with you can massage you back with it.
hope this helps :)

Make sure that you take really comfortable pajamas, house shoes and a robe. You will be doing some walking and you want to be comfortable. Take clothes for the baby to come home in as well as something to have their picture made in if you decide to get pictures done. You also want to take something like a special blanket for the baby so people can immediately recognize them in the nursery. Oh take very comfortable underwear TRUST ME!

i took everything i needed for my contacts, glasses, warm socks, something to wear for the ride home, and an outfit to put bring the baby home in. there really is no need for other things. our hospital only requires that you stay for 24 hours after the birth. that and they wake you up every 2 hours is you are breastfeeding, so it's not like you are on vacation and need a lot of things.

They make it so much easier. Congratulations - you'll do great!
