Make sure you're lathered up really good, either with soap (not preferred) or shaving crean (better!).
Use a new razor-and change the blade/razor often, so you are always getting a new, clean cut. Keep your blade hot--rinse in the hottest water possible & rinse often!
It will itch like HELL when it grows back for the first few times you shave--but you will get used to it. To prevent this from happening so severly, shave often--and use the above tips. Keep your shaved area(s) soft by using baby oil, or Palmer's cocoa butter daily. I've been shaving there for years, and although it takes a lot longer in the shower, I believe it's worth it. Remember to take your time! Good luck

I would say electric hair trimmer is the best bet. If you are using an electirc razor, the hair should be short, if you are using a scissors or conventional shave you might cut yourself.
Hair trimmer is just perfect. You can cut no matter how long the hair is, and it never hurts.

With a very dull razor and no cream. You just want to dry shave it.
It'll make a man out of you at the same time, and when youre finished slap some rubbing alchohol on there. That will help with the chafing......

Trimmimg is better than Shaving. After a full shave the initial days of growth will be very uncomfortable.

Use scissors....shave carefully. Razor blades are quite dangerous, and never scrap to a not-one-hair-remains stage...
Wash off with a good antiseptic and wash you undies too.
Practice safe sex, and have a nice time!

Norelco electric razor. Comes out smooth. Gotta admit, it's almost impossible to go without a minor nick.

Use an electric shaver and stretch the skin tight. Shave often so it doesn't get too long.

use hair removal gel... painless and more effective... just leave it longer period of time since the the pubic hair is so much thicker than normal hairs on the body.
