Will the new V4 tamagotchi connect with the older V3 tamagotchi? my friend has a V3, but I want a V4 can we still connect?

Yes. I have a V3 that connects with V4 so V4 can connect with V3

Yes you can still connect, but the funtions are limited. When you play a game you wont get any points and it will be random if you get to play or give a present. Thats the only part I don't like. Unless you connect with the same version, your options go away :(
