I don't know about the rest of the US, but I've noticed that at least 2 or 3 people go missing every month in Clark County, Nevada. Most are eventually found murdered, or dead from getting lost in the desert. Some children from many years ago have never been found

So much time was spent on Natalie because her parents were wealthier than most and pushing it,They had some means and a few connections to help them out where as most people dont.I think the media plays a big role in how much the police look for a person.

I think you are concerned that we spent so much time on one person. I agree with you but we have to understand that the news is trying to be interesting and not every missing person is interesting.
