If they are actually physically following you around, you see them around your home or work(school), etc. then be worried. If it's an 'online' thing, not considered stalking according to the police in my city =) and probably not anywhere else(unless they actually threaten to harm or molest, etc).
Just keep an eye open if it's a 'real' life thing and not online.

When the other person reasonably feels fear or intimidation, you legally become a stalker and can be charged both criminally and sued in civil court.
