that's a matter of opionion--All politicans are delusional to a certain extent --they think they can lie to the people all of the time and not ever get caught.

In a way they are delusional in thinking that the Republican party is going to conjoin with them in a bipartisan way to serve the rest of the country (the majority) and not just for (the minority) rich.
And they are delusional in thinking that the staid Republican voters are going to see the light and realize that the majority of our country is hurting and has been reduced under Republican rule.

1. Dem politicians are not delusional. They are master politicians who care nothing for the people of the country, only their own power ad advancement. They control uninformed and uneducated people (plenty of whom are college graduates) using fear and lies.
2. Dem voters are delusional. They are deluded into thinking that dem politicians are actually trying to help, when all they do is enact policy to exted and maintain the underclass (their power base) to gain power. They do not want people to have success or to be able to provide for themselves. A society packed with such people would not vote democrat.
