Like you said every pregnancy is different. This is your second pregnancy so your going to feel things sooner than you would have your first one. This is because you already know what it all is.

This is my first pregnancy so I have nothing to compare to but..I first started noticing kicks at 19 weeks. I have never felt movement just those boom...boom...boom kicks. Sometimes they are intermittent and other times repetitive. By 22 weeks I could already see them from the outside and my husband could even feel them. From what I understand, that's somewhat unusual. I think every baby is different. Mine is considered a normal size for it's gestational age yet, I seem to feel kicks and see them more strongly than other moms-to-be. I'm 26 weeks now and the baby seems to kick around in there all the time. I really enjoy the feeling! :) If I were you I wouldn't worry about the kicks being too strong...or the baby being too large at this point. I'm sure your doctor will be evaluating the size of the baby when you go for your ultrasound. But- it never hurts to mention what you've been feeling at your next appt.

This not unusual. As already stated each one is different. My first pregancy (after a miscarriage) my son only moved after I showered in the evening and was relaxing in the recliner. It was like he was doing flip flops back and forth very gently. I really never felt much else from him but then with my daughter she was just constantly on the go. Neither kicked me but as I said my daughter was constantly moving inside me. As for having a bigger baby that is hard to say as it could be just the way things are or you may have a bigger baby. I am sure the doc can give you an idea on this if you ask him at your next visit.

I know! This is my first pregnancy! I am 28 weeks pregnanct right now, but it feels like my baby is salsa dancing in there or something! I felt flutters early in pregnancy, but when i was also around 5 months..He was going to town!! Before I was pregnant I was only 115 pounds and in really good shape, I always thought that I would stay "small" during pregnancy, but people can't believe that I still have 12 weeks to go! I look about 10 months! lol.... good luck

Don't worry. I am 22 weeks, and this is my first ppregnancy. I can feel is kicking and punching all over the place. It feels like I've got a lil boxer in there. She/He has a hard punch/kick. LOL but it is normal to feel the 2nd baby sooner than the first, because you already know what it feels like, some women think it is just gas or something else. Good Luck and Congrads on the baby!!!

I don't think there is anything to worry about. Like you said yourself "every pregnancy is different" I felt my baby really start tap dancing at about 6 months and since then it's gotten even stronger (almost 8 months). If you are concerned about the size of your baby I would ask doctor to measure belly to see if the baby is growing normally and also maybe he/she could set you up with a ultrasound to reassure you! Perhaps the early kicking is a sign of the personality to come...Good luck!

My first child was a girl. Very subtle kicking. My second was a boy, he kicked all the time. I was alot bigger with him too. Girl weighed 7lbs, boy weighed 9 lbs. He kicked me on the way out too. You gotta love it. Enjoy your pregancy and don't worry. This baby may be more active.

I was the same way. My second baby was bigger than my first. My first was a girl at 7 lbs 1 oz. The second was a boy at 8 lbs 6oz. Hope this helps.

I have been feeling my son kicling since I was 20 weeks (I am 33 weeks now) and at first it was just like fluttering, now it is stong kicking, hiccups, feet and hands sticking out right in my ribs.
My belly has weird movements, sometimes is surprising but always fun and a beautiful feeling of just knowing he is theres, moving around and developing strong and healthy!

Because this is your second pregnancy is probably why you are bigger, things are stretched out now. My second pregnancy was just as you explained. My first child was a girl then when my second child came it was a boy. You may be carrying a boy. From everyone that I have spoken to their boys were always more active.
