This bill is going through the UK goverment at this moment. It would allow a Bailiff with out a warrent to break in to seize goods to the value of any outstanding debt or credit card bill.
Who is going to protect the vunerable against incorrect and wrong information, how many bailiffs aggressively assert them selves on people? What has happened to the UK society of protection?
"The Tribunals, Courts and Enforcement Bill proposes new powers, including forced entry and the right to restrain people, for enforcement agents.

But it does not sufficiently spell out safeguards to protect debtors, the Joint Committee on Human Rights says"

Bailiffs only call after a Court Order has been ignored or not satisfied. Any vulnerable people should not ignore previous contacts by the creditor.
Sensitive info on computers should be deleted before sale, but its worth checking with the bailiff.

You need to post more information about this bill. Where are you located? what type of law is this? is it a local law? will the law allow bailiffs to enter with a warrant or probable cause or not? if it requires a warrant or probable cause to seize items then the law is codifying what the cases have held for decades.
