Is a tough call, but you have to weight the good things against the bad things in the relationship and then decide if it is worth keeping. A middle ground is to distance yourself gradually from this "friend" and only meet up every few month or so and you are more likely to see the "fun" part of the friend, than the day-to-day jealously/bragging that whoever the new best friend will end up having to tolerate from day to day.

Do the pro's out way the cons? Is being around her so much that you don't mind her trying to make you jealous? To me someone that's snobby and intentionally tries to make me jealous wouldn't be too much of a friend. People change and it's not always for the better. If you have fun with your friend, I'd still hang around with them, but not as much.

wow this reminds me of something that sort of happened to me, just talk to her about the way she has been acting, if she still acts that way then she doesn't need to be your friend. 7 years is a long time but sometimes people change for reasons I can't explain.

Either accept the changes in your friend, and learn to accept the "new" her, or find a new friend.
