The bible predicts this at 2 Timothy 3:1-7 it describes the poor state of the world there are a few kind hearted people but overall the world is selfish and people only think about themselves. But if we just try to apply counsel at 1 corinthians 13:4-8 and have love things would be better. Love is not jealous doesnt get puffed up with pride doesnt keep account of injury etc. Last Luke 10:27 tells us to love god first then love our neighbor as urself. So like during traffic or a road rage episode, if u dont want someone to shoot a bird to u dont do either, we all have to be in that mess of traffic so why not be peaceable and courteous and get home safely.
We all reside and thrive off this planet together why not do it peacefully?

Really interesting question - "affect(ing) everybody" makes it difficult, and most answers are going to affect many - maybe even most people, but few if any things impact "everybody". I think 'threat' affects everyone. We are consistently faced w/ the threat of war, violence, disease, damaging a relationship, making the house payment, offending a friend, etc. This list made me think 'fear' possibly affected everybody, but I don't think everyone reacts to threats fearfully. The answer to fixing the wrongs, then, is not a program, but a philosophical shift. I believe a move toward altruism and away from selfishness would lessen the number of threats. People would be slower to violence, more cognizant of grace and ultimately the need to assert dominance through violence or buy a new car rather than feeding someone living in poverty. Now how do we move people toward this perspective . . ? you got me.

Better health care in the U.S.
I think it would benefit the world.
There should be a cap to profits, say a moderate 14%, for pharmaceutical companies because they are not like normal companies that go through different or seasonal periods of supply and demand. They are constant demand because without the medicine, we gonna die.
I still like Bush's push for tort reform in the health insurance industry. That is a big key to push costs down for all.
As long as we keep focusing on getting the cost down and create more competition, this can be a great accomplishment for our era.

The biggest is selfishness.
We are all so headlong in the pursuit of our own selfish desires we will do anything to achieve them. Anything including hurting others. If everyone did one nice thing for someone else everyday that did not directly benefit themselves, this world would be a better place.

Such a small space to conquer the ills of mankind.
1) there is very little kinship between us
2) fear keeps us from stopping to help someone out
3)the what is in it for me attitude
4)propaganda instilling hate between neighbors
5) It seems like no one is ever in the wrong anymore ...everyone screams INJUSTICE. No one takes the
blame for their own faults.
6)no God in peoples' lives
7)no trust
8)no faith
Everyone needs a 'reality check'...

Terrorism, and the government is working on ideas. I really don''t think that it will ever be obsolete. But Israel, England, and the United States are doing their darndest to keep it under control. And I think they are doing a terrific job under the circumstances.

Nothing fits into that category, sorry.
The only idea to make your world better is to imagine or visualize that it already is, in detail.
