I bought a couch cover, which fits loosely. I was wondering if anybody has any tips on how to shrink a 100% cotton couch cover.
Thank You

If it can be washed, you can use hot water and a high dryer setting but you will not be able to,control how much it shrinks. A better solution might be to stitch it a little to take in the extra fabric. or attach Velcro and fold material over to take up looseness

Cotton will shrink if washed. The down side is that unless you monitor the washing and drying process carefully they cover may wrinkle a lot. Second it may shrink too much and make it hard to put it on the sofa.

Don't wash it with detergent, but get it wet. Dry it in a big dryer at a laundromat. I used to work in a textile laundry and this will ensure good results without the risk of fading or detergent stains.
