I was wondering the difference of Suave deodorant. Their active ingreedient is Aluminum Chlorohydrate 20%. Secret's (for example) is Aluminum Zirconium Trichlorohydrex Gly 19%. Are these the same ingredients or different ones? Also, how is the Suave brand comparable to major brans?

Traditionally aluminum chloride and aluminum chlorohydrate have been the actives des jour. However, aluminum in these forms can be irritating to the skin, cause acne and aggravate razor burn. The newest generation ingredient, Aluminum Zirconium Tetrachlorohydrex Glycine, is much better tolerated by the skin and less likely to cause irritation or acne.

Here's where I got this:

I have both Suave and Dove, in different scents. It could be YOU too, some people sweat more and need a stronger brand specifically made for that reason. Buy Suave and if you still have the same problem, look for a deodorant that is made for people who sweat more.
