I would buy one of those guidebooks to Florida from WH Smiths or somewhere as there is just so much to see and do that you are likely to miss out. These guides give you ratings for rides as well and tips about when and where to queue, where to eat, best value for money etc.

We went a few years ago and you cannot expect to do everything in just two weeks. The places we most enjoyed were definitely Islands of Adventure and the Disney waterparks. We also liked Sea World and the night time at Islands of Adventure too. Universal Studios was really good too. And Animal Kingdom was brilliant.

The one that we gave a swerve to was Epcot, part of Disney. It's only really interesting if you are technically minded. We were also really disappointed with Disney itself. I went there when I was little and it's not really changed at all. The facilities for humidity and toilets etc were not really adequate when you consider those at other theme parks. It's worth going I suppose to say you've been especially if you have young children but I would rather go to Islands of Adventure twice and miss Disney out altogether.

Our favourite rides were definitely the Spiderman ride at I of A and A Bug's Life in Animal Kingdom.

Try and allow yourself a couple of days by the pool as well. Believe you me, you'll need it. You can also catch a tram thing down to the malls at the end of International Drive for some bargain hunting. Try The Ponderosa restaurants for some great bargain buffet-style meals, all you can eat. Kids under 5 eat for free too, so that's a billy bonus.

Definately go to Old Town in Kissimmee on a Friday night-they have a great car show & live music, everybody has a really fun time!! The flea markets on 192 in Kissimmee are full of bargains.
There's a nice bar in Lake Buena Vista (near Hooters) called Kitty O'Shea's-very welcoming and bands on etc..
Denny's is highly recommended for something to eat-casual place, good food and plenty of it,the one in Lake Buena Vista is quieter than the I-Drive branches. Also try Popeyes on I-Drive for some good food-try the Po'Boy,.

Gaterland zoo, the Tupperware factory, Bibleworld?, Airboat rides in the swamp, I think Great China closed down, T-shirt outlets on 192, shell world, or you could take the advise of other answerers and go to the really good places. Not that I don't like aligators and tupperware.

STAY INSIDE...I was there this past October and there were millions and millions of LOVE BUGS!!

coming from a guy who really doesn't mind bugs....I don't know how those people put up with it! I mean you ask the locals and they just shrug it off "oh they are just love bugs they wont bite"

No they dont bite but from my hotel door to the car (about 50 feet) I'd have like 9 of them attached to me...you CANNOT go outside....wow I think I'd rather live in North Dakota!

Seaworld is the best, the shows with Shamu the whale and the dolphins is amazing especially when you realise the training and dedication that has been put into all of this. Been there twice and it never seizes to amaze me.
Enjoy !

you should obviously visit the disney parks as well as seaworld and universal,

check out discovery cove to swim with the dolphins, but there is much more to it than that there are some great shopping places to visit.
