I think if you kiss it, it will turn into a prince or something. Or is that a toad?

Dont pick it up unless its absolutely nessisary! Frogs 'breath' thru their skin, and the chemicals on our hands can kill them! I learned the hard way with my green tree frog...
To tame it in the sense that it wont hide whenever you're around, try to just stay by the cage and watch him. Feed him and stay there, frogs almost always eat in front of people if they're hungry. If he starts associating you with food, he will eventually come out more and he will accept you as part of the enviroment. He wont think you're a threat of sorts.
Please only pick the frog up when you have to clean the cage. If you want a amphibian pet you can hold all the time, get a toad. I had one for five years. They make great pets and I even let mine wander freely outside! She never actually ran away, just hopped around searching for food. They have the same care requirements, but they need less water and dont climb as good as frogs do.
Good luck taming the frog!

You can put your hand in its tank, or whatever it's living in, and let it get used to you touching it, and even holding it, but I don't think a frog will ever enjoy human contact.
