Will the gynecologist care if you don't shave your vagina so it is really hair? And Would it be hard to get the speculum thing in your vagina if it is bushy and hairy? And one more thing isn't it imbarrasing to let the gynecologist see your hairy vagina?

gynecologist's see all kinds of vaginas. they do not care if you shave, trim, wax, or let it grow in. I have never shaved for an appointment and never will! that said, if you are very hairy down there, the speculum could catch on the hair and pull which would be a bit painful for you. do what u normallydo, doctors really dont care.

No the gyn doesn't care and it is not hard to insert the speculum into the vagina with hair as you part the vaginal lips before inserting it and that spread any hair out of the way. Also it is not embarrassing as pubic hair is normal and has been since man and women were created. Shaving the pubic area is what is not normal. It is not bad just not the way things were inteneded to be.

To the gynecologist, if they've seen one, they've seen them all. Trust me, it's no different than looking at a face. So they don't care. And no, it won't be a problem doing an exam without shaving. Probably more than half of all women don't shave.
