In churches no less. Where are all the paranoid Liberals who are always whining about mixing politics and religion? Left wing fundamentalist Christians. Whats the world coming to!!!

having a southern accent myself, I will admit it is easy for somebody who is not used to hearing it to "accidentally" pick it up. Granted they sound a little stupid, but it is inadvertent. They overplay it. Don't be insulted, it was just more of an inadvertent attempt at votes that backfired.
As for the person that said "history has proven people with southern accents are stupid", that was about the most lame brained thing I have ever heard. Learn your history, then become a bigot.

in Southern Arkansas they do talk like that.. as well as various other places in the south (I live in Arkansas, so please don't try to argue the point with me) and it is a FACT that people naturally change their accent depending on their environment.. we adapt language very quickly.. and if you have something close in your experience it gets used first.. in the case of Clinton the Southern accent got used from Arkansas.. and maybe Obama just spent too much time down there that day or something.. who knows.

Like Bill Clinton, I'm also from Arkansas, and I've heard PLENTY of Arkansans who speak like he does. Also, not all Southerners sound the same. For example, a person from Georgia doesn't speak like someone from Alabama.

Whatever. I saw Obama's speech on tv. He sounded like his regular self. Could it be that you dislike him so you are trying to make up sh*t about him. I think so. How is it that you were at both speeches at once? I couldn't help noticing that no Republicans were there. Oh yeah, they don't like black people.

He sounded like he normally does. I didn't like some of what he said, but he didn't sound any different than he normally does.

You're insulted? Wow. Good chance there is like 0% chance that you would have voted for them in the first place.
