I had my son 7 weeks ago and I was wondering how soon my period would come back or when I should expect it before we start to think we could be prego again since we werent thinking about that when we had sex after his birth. He is my first child and I do not breastfeed. Can anyone give me a ballpark or answer? Thanks!

I would assume that the doctor should have answered that when you were discharged. you can get pregnant immediately depending upon your own body. After his birth-how soon after you delivered a child were you having sex? The doctor probably gave you 6 weeks to recover -correct? They used to recommend 6 months of recovery.
