are the files that are on the CD-RW .. music files? or are they data files? or were they music files that were copied to cd ad a data disc?
if they were copied to cd as a data disc - then copy the files to a folder
once you have them in the folder - right click on a file - then click Properties - and see which items are checked off
example - check mark in "read only", check mark in "hidden"
if any of those have check marks in them - uncheck them
then try play them on your player (right click on the song/file and click add to playlist)

not really sure what it is you're asking for - hopefully this was of some help

More information is needed. CD-RW is the Disc or the drive and mp3 is a file (music file) What you need to do is find the name of the file on your Disc copy it to your PC then open the program that will convert the file for you providing the file is not already in mp3 format and can be converted to mp3 by the program your using.

1. Place the Disc in the drive.
2. Go to start and click on My Computer or Check your Desktop for the My Computer Icon
3. Look for your CD drive and right click on it.
4. Go to Explore and you should see a complete list of files on that disc with the exception of hidden files but thats another story.
5. Drag and drop it to your desktop then start your conversion process.
