I used a CD lens cleaners with great effect on my CD player. Is it safe to use it on my computer/DVD player?

As far as the dvd player, go for it. It works great. As for your pc, I'm not sure if the lens is the same as a cd/dvd player. But dvd player, yes.

Is this something like a CD with tiny brushes under it like caterpillars' feet? If so, yes, it's fine.
