Just read the headline article about "booing" at high school games. Let me just say this, I was not a jock in high school, so of course I was teased and tormented by them. If these bullies can't handle a few boos, they need to get off the field/court and help the bandies carry their instruments. Besides, isn't high school supposed to prepare us for life? Life doesn't sugar-coat the booing, why should high school?

you are so right, dog! if they can't handle the boos they should not be out there. fans are not sportsmen, they just fans... we have the right to cheer/jeer whoever we want.

You don't have to limit the political correctness to high school sports....in organized sports all over America today, kids are not learning about winning and losing...as they ALL get trophies! Kids today are so mollycoddled that they have no clue as to how tough it can be out there. They don't have any concept of how to overcome adversity.

I would suggest that booing at a high school event does show bad sportsmanship, but hey, thats life. The more lessons you can acquire earlier in life, the better suited you are to succeed.

Booing is one thing if it's done because of an obviously bad call or a blatant foul. But just because the other team scored, or made a big play? That's poor sportsmanship.

The crowd should be able to express their opinion, but I think that they should do so responsibly.

My mother always told be that if you can't say some thing good about a person you shouldn't say any thing at all.

Booing & trash talk at sporting events has gotten way out of hand.
