why are there so many down right nasty people on here?
If someone asks a question and you have something informative to say then answer. Playful answers and sarcasm are expected and we all have a giggle at them but why do a lot of women especially (not all women i hasten to add) feel the need to be rude or offensive to other women, especially those with pictures instead of avatars?
No doubt i'll get a lot of irate answers but it's true, and im not over sensitive or anything, i can see the funny side in anything, but sometimes people are just plain nasty because they can hide their identity behind an avatar.
I mean it begs the question, do they come on here to behave in a way they know they would never do in real life for fear of confrontation or worse, a sore face??

thanks for all the comments so far, i just want to add that i don't mean confrontational answers which may be a bit close the bone or hard to hear if they differ widely from your own personal beliefs, everyone had different views, i mean the personal insults.

yes, and these people are not very brave to hide behind the Yahoo!! and all the petty Violations..so i just give them out as i get them...its unfair but i am tired of getting these mean spirited violations...so i am just as bad as these nasty people
but you are right..they are really base cowards at best and i feel Yahoo! is just as much to blame but what do I know as I sometime am just as guilty in my own fashion

I think your last sentance sums it up, people can hide on here so they get a kick out of being nasty to other people. Sarcasm etc is all well and good and i love the funny answers but when someone hurls personal insults it speaks more for their insecurities and ignorance rather than your question. Don't let them bother you, at the end of the day the computer isn't your life, i'm sure it's just a bit of fun for you and to sometimes get advice on something so just take the good with the bad.x

I guess misery loves company. In the beginning I would become very upset when I would read all the racist and stupid comments on here. Then I sat back and thought. The majority of people who post racist comments are probably doing so to get a rise out of people; not because they are actual racists.
Don't get me wrong, I'm sure there are some racist people here, but I really feel they are in the minority.

You are correct. there are nasty people in here, and its a real shame. I ve had really arsey comments from some people. We just have to try not to let it ruin our day. I dont let people contact me, cos that ways things cant get too personal. If theyre really harsh, just report them. I know what you mean about avatars too. Some people obviously (and sadly) seem to get pleasure out of upsetting other people.

I can't really answer for them, but my advice to you is to ... okay, this isn't real original ... ignore them. Don't let their nastiness ruin one moment of your day, otherwise you've just given them control over you, if even for that moment. When you start reading and realize that's what you're getting, skip it and get to the ones that are really trying to help. Hang in there!
I like the real pictures. I think they're great!! I'm just too lazy to figure out how you do them (the whiners are just jealous).

good question, i think *persoanlly* when it comes to other women in distress, they take ful advantage of it, ppl feel more powerful, if thats the right word to use, to make others feel worse,
also there is the option some one feels worse than you *in their opinon* but doesn't recieve the same attention then likely they will abuse you and be plain nasty towards you
its just the way everything goes these dayz

I can see your point Lisa........I have had my fair share of nasty answers as I'm sure we all have on here. But, I think it's life - not all people will agree, not all people are nice, not all people will like each other...I suppose things would be a bit boring if this wasn't the case.....

people are just mean. the internet gives some people the opportunity to be who there not or who they want to be. some of these nasty tipes are probably picked on or week in real life so act the part here. sod um anway, the loosers! :-)

I am so sorry for that! I think it shows the insecurity of those women that they have to be rude to you. I could understand if you were asking a rude question. If only the world had more loving christians.........
