Wisdom is incorrect. There are hardly any, and most of them are chains in the city outskirts or suburbs. There is one good independent place on Kneeland Street. However several Chinatown eateries stay open until 3 or 4 AM.

The lack of good all night eateries is one of Boston's great failures as a metropolitan city compared to others.

There are plenty just go in the inner city and you will find them there.
