I would have to agree with "tbugs" the best buffet in LV is the Sterling Brunch at Bally's, that is if you don't mind spending $65 for lunch. The Circus Circus Brunch is "only" $32.95, it is a good one & a better value, just not as good as Bally's.

For value the buffet rated number one by the Las Vegas Advisor>which is where the travel channel gets most of their LV information is the Mirage.

My favorites for great food and good value are
#1-Main Street Station B-$5.99 L-$7.89 D-$10.99
#2-Boulder Station B-$5.99* L-$6.99* D-$9.99* >
#2-Orleans B-$7.45 L-$8.95 D-$13.95
#4-Palace Station B-$5.99* L-$6.99* D-$8.99*
#5-Fremont Tue/Fri/Sun Seafood buffet($16)>almost as good as the Seafood buffet at Rio($35) but for less than 1/2 the price...
#6-LV Hilton

*> $1 off with slot club card

If the Rio Carnival World Buffet was rated #1 >"it was an old show" >The Buffet at Rio is not nearly as good now as it was 10-15 years ago & it's over priced>Or maybe you could look at it as, many other buffets have caught and passed it up!

We go to LV for 2 weeks or more at a time 2-3 times a year and have for over 20 years. We prefer to eat at buffets because of the variety.

In my opinion the best buffet in Vegas is the Seafood buffet at the "Rio",on the upper level. It is a little more expensive about $28.00 or around there abouts, but is definately worth it,it is a little off the strip but easily accesible with a taxi or rent a car.
For everyday eats, and "good tasty food",I like the New York,New York Hotel, where you can get a slice of pizza or a calzone for less than 5 dollars and it is HUGE.

i visit Vegas about six times a year. I would say there are a couple that I would call the best. The Wynn, Rio and Mandalay Bay I think are the best. I am a big seafood eater and all of these have very nice shrimp, oysters, crab legs, sushi and a bunch of other things to eat. They are all just under thirty dollars.
Close behind these 3 are Bellagio, and Red Rock Casino.

I haven't been to Vegas in a long time but when I was there the buffet at the Mirage was great and there was a ton of things to choose from they basically had anything that you could ask for and the price was right

I really liked the Sunday brunch at the LV Hilton. I also thought that the Aladdin buffet isn't all that everyone raves that it is. It has awesome stations for meat and dessert but all the other stations had few offerings. I wasn't impressed at all. I am trying the Rio Seafood buffet when I go next month. I might now try the Fremont one, based on what one of your posters said.

My vote is going to be the Buffet at Bally's (wonderful food at all times and includes Mimosas for the breakfast buffet!). The Rio has a nice seafood buffet, although i'm not too hot on seafood, but my father loved it last time we were there.

I hear the Bellagio has a wonderful buffet as well...but I've never tried it. i'm sure it is one of the most expensive...

I honestly don't think there is a "bad" buffet in Las Vegas...at least I've never seen one...just more or less expensive ones....depending on how far away they are from strip central and how new or old the hotel is...

The most amazing buffet I have ever been to was at the Wynn. But it was also very expensive.

Main Street Station and Aladdin buffets are also good and more reasonably priced.

I've heard good things about the buffet at Paris, but I've never been there myself.

Assuming you like seafood, the Rio Seafood buffet (it's different from the Rio Carnival Buffet). Coupons can be found (on Ebay if you can't find them elsewhere) for $10-off per person.

The best and the most expensive is the Sterling Brunch at Balley's. It is only on Sunday from 11 am until 3 pm.
