Is it okay for a man to wear tights?

Question

I am a 30 year old straight man. I quite like the idea of wearing opaque tights under my trousers. There see to be quite a lot of tights/pantyhose marketed at men these days. Would women find this really weird or off-putting? Should I try them?

if its just for warmth then good on you. but dont wear them when your on the pull.

A lot of guys wear tights under their trousers when they work outside all day during the winter months. Apparently they are quite warm - Work in an office myself, so have never put this too the test, and to be perfectly honest, never will as it seems a little too tranny for my liking

Well Put it this way I am a male 28 and I like alot of fishing. When I fish in the winter I wear tights they are very warm and keep the cold out. There is no harm in men wearing tights.

My partner wear what would probably be considered tights when he is cycling in cold weather. They make his long legs look really skinny but I don't find them off putting.

I pretty aure that Eddie Izzard has shown that men can wear whatever clothes they want and still be sexy.

For my money you could wear basque, stockings and a skirt and if i found you attractive I would still fancy you!

The one thing I have Observed in the response to your question. there is large amount of small mind people out there. Men wearing tights is ok and men have been wearing for years. There is nothing wrong with wearing tights. wearing of tights do not mean you wish to wearing other women items.

Most men who work on Building sites wear tights in the winter. They are very warm

Hmmm, how peculiar, as previously said, only if you're a bank robber, or you work out doors and its winter, by that i mean you must wear work clothes over them.... lolol can you imagine a brickie in a hard hat, high vis vest with just opaque tights and work boots on?

you do whatever you want to do, just bear in mind that some people will find it a little weird.

did you see the film Robin Hood men in tights? they wore them ages ago and male ballet dancers wear them

erm... unless you work in really cold conditions - where it is acceptable for guys to wear tights under their jeans etc - Id kinda be off put if I found a guy I was with wearing them!!!! Ermmm if you insist on going ahead with it I might try them out in the safety of your house - ALONE!!!!
