The real title of "Cockles and Mussels" is "Molly Malone". Josh White recorded the Irish ballad by James Yorkston on his Decca album "Ballads and Blues, Vol. 2" in 1947.
British blues singer and writer George Melly released his LP "Nuts" in 1972. It was reissued on CD in 2004.
"He's Gone" appeared on an album by Pearl Bailey called "The Real Pearl Bailey" in 1968, but she performed the number on US TV on "The Colgate Comedy Hour" in 1954, so she'd probably recorded it before then.
