I have one baby, three cats and they all get along great. I hugged and kissed them throughout pregnancy and my daughter is fine. In fact one of them we used to call the 'belly hugger' because he used to love snuggling up to my pregnant belly; so much so he'd sneak into bed (under the covers!) to curl up next to me!
He went right off me after she was born, but he's got over it now!!
Good luck and congratulations on your pregnancy!

you ought to use compressed wood chips or perhaps sand or paper strips (like from a record destroying device) to your cat's ligger field, that's secure. you will could desire to alter it greater generally nevertheless. as long as you're no longer allergic to cat fur, your cats do no longer bypass exterior and are vaccinated, it fairly is going to no longer influence your being pregnant. :) That being stated, do make valuable your cats are healthful. Cats can get chlamydia and aids too, besides as tapeworms and different nasties you do no longer decide for to handle mutually as pregnant, or with a splash infant interior the domicile. Our cats stay interior each and all the time and it fairly isn't any vast deal in any respect. we've under pressure a million window with an iron internet so the cats have a variety of french balcony into the backyard so as that they could watch birds and get sparkling air, yet no longer certainly bypass exterior to fulfill different cats.

Enjoy your cats! I know mine sense that something is different about me and they hover around my stomach. They even like to lie on my stomach and begin purring like crazy! It's totally fine to still give them the love and attention they crave. After all, once the baby comes the attention they get is going to reduce drastically! Common wisdom says to stay away from the litterbox because of the risk of toxoplasmosis. However, if you've had the cats for a while you've already been exposed to toxoplasmosis and have developed a tolerance for it. But...better safe than sorry - stay away from the poop!

I do and it hasn't effected me. Studies show that you are msot likely allready imune to toxoplasmosis if you are a regular cat owner. just stay clear of the littler boxes, ( that's my favorite part haha ). i love my cats all of the time. i just don't let them lick me in the face anymore because you know they lick their butts and stuff. but i still love all over them
PS i'm a vet asst and i give my kitties baths all of the time just hold them by their scruff

its fine as long as you keep away from the catbox- cat litter MAY have chemicals that can harm you and the baby so when you play with the cats, try to stay away from their paws and tongues

are the cats clean? if they take baths less then once a month and clean themselves well (so that no kitty stuff is on them that should be in the litter box) then it should not be a problem.
It's hard to give a cat a bath- but can be very woth it for their coat if you do it Very seldom.
