I met a guy on the internet 1 and 1/2 years ago and we have kept intouch occasionally by email ect..... last Christmas we both bought a web cam and ever since have really connected. Can this type of relationship survive reality or is fantisy better than reality.

it does work , sometimes it can be a fantasy of your imagination. but also a wonderful way to keep in contact. as in any relationship,it has its pitfalls also.. (no physical contact until you meet) i am pleased yours has been so successful.

NO! If you met him online, you really don't know what kind of person he is. There are a lot of creep out there. I know from experience, I met some guy online one time, and he wanted to date, and I told him lets wait to get to know each other. He lives just a few towns away from me. Anyway, in the end, I ended up with a stalker, and he was mentally disturbed, he threatened suicide if I didn't talk to him, he was also telling me that if he ever found me, all the things he would do to me, which were kind of creepy. He kept telling me that we were going to have a baby together etc etc etc. So, my advice to you is just drop it, and find yourself a boyfriend who is actually a real person, not a person on a computer.

well i have known this girl over the net for more than three years now...and i do think i love her(whatever that may mean)...so i guess you can have a realtionship...but future is unsure in most cases...hope you are one of the lucky ones..:)

i met my fiance online.and right now thast the only way we can talk since he is overseas.yes it can work if you met him and like him but if you never met him then no,it probably wont work
