Nobody can be the leader of the world, bacause the people want freedom and nobody is perfekt. I do not have a hero.

My hero is my mum, because she's had two miscariges, her first kid's (me) dad died, and then her second child's dad was brutally murdered and the killer walked away just about scot-free. She suffers from arthritus and manic depression, and yet has still managed to raise two kids. Do you get much more heroic than that?
I think the true leader of the world is not known to anyone other than the current 'world leaders' (tony blair, etc.) who controls them, and, therefore, the world.

I am my hero because I have been through the fire. I lost 4 family members(son, daughter, grandmother, grandfather) Pulled through drug abuse, lost my father, my sister(only sister to Aids), lived in the ghetto, and still help my mother and brother pay their bills, maintain my own household with my 8year old daughter, take abuse from society and still wake up happy.
God is in charge of my life and that's why I am my hero because God lives in me.
There is no world leader,if it was there would be
peace.

My brother. Why? Because he was able to hold his family together after his wife was killed and provide a home full of love and laughter for his kids. The kids are healthy and happy. And he recently received a much deserved promotion.
The only thing missing from his life now is a significant other.. but I'm working on it.
P.S. Wicked Cheney is the leader,although Bush is the president.

If I can pick only one hero then it has to be Mikhail Gorbachov (apologies for misspelling). He had the vision to see a different world and the courage to stand up and be counted, to push ahead when what he was trying to achieve looked impossible. I think the world is utterly bereft of leaders right now.

My hero is Mr Benn. It is amazing how all he had to do was put on the costume of an amazing job and just like magic he was able to be that person. His aptitude in learning the trapeze was second to none.
The leader of the world? I think it is probably Bagpuss. He can do such amazing things and when he goes to sleep so does everyone else.

my hero is my daughther she is very sick and still fights everyday , even though she cant talk i know in my heart she is the reason i go on from day to day , the leader of the world question i dont know. all i know is my own world ,,best wishes always beth

My mum, she has sacrificed her whole life for me and my brother, she has single handedly looked after us always provided us with the best clothes while she has gone without, same with food, she also taught us at home, now she is in a job that pays peanuts and debt and living in a flat in an alley, my mum is definately my hero and when I am rich enough I will be hers too :)

I always liked Caligula's style, He did things His way. The leader of the world would have to be Lo Baan, the elusive Triad leader of the Hong Kong underworld, Lo Baan has His beak in every cup, don't mess around with Lo Baan!
