Philosophy is the understanding of life, both past and present. When people study the past and apply it to the present, the future can be predicted to a much higher level than if there was no understanding at all. Philosopher's attempt to understand the inter-working of all things as they relate to the interaction of people with people at different levels, cultures, circumstances, and events. They study the whys and hows of these areas to better determine what would happen if similar things were to take place or interact with society today. They try to advise mankind on how to act in certain situations and how to prevent things from taking place that would be disadvantageous to mankind.

The philosophical answer to the question of what philosophy is, is not an answer at all, it's a question; leading to a discussion of what answers mean when they have no questions to support their existence within the purported framework of the revolutionary responses to queries aimed at both asking, and answering, nothing.

Philosophically, philosophy tackles the Reasons of truth which sorts out the falsity of false from that of trueness of true encompassing the large array of subject matters including existence of God, the soul, man and life, the universe, death, free-will/destiny/fate,education,knowledge,community and the state and much more that are contributory to helping man's awareness and his importance in this universe where he is considered the center of such universe, the highest of all creations and the measure of all things as per genuine existence of his reason and free-will which alienates him from other living,non-living creations and thus which makes him responsible of every bit of his actions.

Philosophically speaking, it is when people engage on a topic, and discuss it according to their opinion, not according to facts. Many times you will hear the expression "well philosophically speaking" my opinion is for such, and such a reason. Just like you are asking this question. It is for a philosophical discussion. It is not fact, fiction, true or false.

As the final exam, a philosophy professor put a chair on his desk and asked the students to prove the chair's non-existence. The students began to write fast and furious. One student handed her paper in after just 30 seconds. The next day, the professor announced that the only "A" paper belonged to the student who finished so quickly. When her classmates asked her what she had written, she said, "What chair?"

Your philosophy is your attitiude with a reasonable explaination why things are, better expressed or
defined by what you do than what you say, think,or feel.
The most you can know in life is a good feeling
(not nessesarilly a good physical feeling).
