God yes. I'm waiting for Pavano to stub his toe and go on the Injured reserve list....Hughes will be a shining star this year.

Hughes will pitch in the bigs this year, the question is when? He will undoubtedly be on a strict pitch count for the year. So it's in Yankee fans best interest that he doesn't come up until at least the all-star break, or even better when the rosters are expanded. The kid is for real, but I think the Yanks will do everything they can to protect his arm with a pitch count.

yes, they'll definately bring him up when they expand the active roster in September. We'll see him earlier if one of the starters (Pavano probably) goes down to injury.

Yeah he'll be brought up, probably after the All-Star break in July.

yep, he'll pitch. with their pitching rotation at that age. somebody will get hurt and he'll be called up.
