i tried to give ip adress of other PC but it says NOT FOUND. do i need to do any thing else to connect then. i am saving simple broadband cable with same pin both side.

Whack whack does work across the internet. You will need to make sure that you have the active IP address of the remote computer and that both computers allow remote access. If XP on both boxes, use remote desktop under /Programs/accessories/communications/remote desktop

Not sure quit what you mean, But the way I think you are trying to set up BB between 2 pc is incurrect. For you to be able to use BB on both pcs the easyest way to do this is get your self a ie (BB) Broadband routor or wirless routor.

howdy Prof! Ashamed to declare i don't understand any Frank Black. i'm a great fan of The Pixies, yet in no way have been given around to this solo fabric. That feels like a sturdy music, i'm going to go a-looking and spend the evening listening to extra solo stuff.

Are you establishing a LAN over Internet? That's why stuff like VPN and PPTP is for and you missed that setup.

get a dsl router or network hub and that should work for you

try a router, netgear and linksys are good brands.
