Young man (15 years) was treated for anorexia and seems to be normal now. Is he "out of danger" or will he suffer some consequences in adulthood?

There are many factors to look at.

how long did he have an active disorder?
genetics
overall mental health
amount of social support
how serious (medically speaking) was his disorder
how long has he been in recovery (if in recovery)

It's a tough question to answer with no background information.

It really depends on the person. Most anorexic do relapse at some point. Many also become bulimic. A few end up overweight. Depending on how severe the anorexia was to begin with, He may have heart problems, stomach problems, stunted growth, emotional problems or hair loss. many anorexics never totally recover.

i myself have suffered with anorexia and i am only 14.he will probably be skinny the rest of his life and he will have some stunted growth.he will also have a few years cut short on his life from non food eating.its unhealthy.plus you never no most anorexics go back to there old habits like i did
