A lot of this depends on what type of account you mail is stored in and what you have loaded on your computer!

If you have Outlook (or Outlook Express) you can configure either of those to "pull" the e-mail from an online account such as Yahoo. With Outlook go to Email Accounts and set up an account for POP3. Put in the required information and your mail will be on your computer. The other way is to save each individual e-mail to your local machine...but I don't recommend this at all.
