Every newspaper has elements of the truth in it because they cannot just outright lie to the public.
they all twist the truth to make it seem more interesting to the public so that they will buy your newspaper.
i reckon broadsheet papers like the times are more truthful because their stories and article are mainly based on facts and they show evidence.

I think "Truthful newspaper" is an oxymoron. Although I like the Mirror's car column on a Friday.

New York Times, as their philosophy has always been we print the news. If it upsets a few advertisers then that's the way it goes. WE print the news! Throw out most of the Tabloids as they look for controversial news to print right or wrong, but they can be fun to read.

They all manipulate the truth to suit there own hidden agendas, check out who owns them and you'll see, the "Free Press" in the UK is a myth, why, even the TV news is as biased as hell! it's in their interests to manipulate your minds, Take the Mail and Express's stand on immigration, the do it just to wind up the gullible population!

The only truthful newspaper would be one printed with blank pages - they all manipulate stories to suit their own needs

I don't think there are any truthful newspapers they are only interested in making a profit so they elaborate most things.

If you really want to know what's going on and the money men behind it then The Financial Times. The Daily Star I wouldn't use for my cat's litter box, if I want porn then there are some very good free German satellite channels on late.

The FT (Financial Times) is pretty neutral (ie not leaning too much to either labour or conservative parties) and very informative....also I rather like the Independent or the Oberver for similar reasons.
