i am a poet and want to publish a book but how do i go about ? help?

i have a passion for writing and some of my poems are already made their presence on newspapers , i wish to publish a poetry book in hindi and english but i dont know how to go about ,, their cost , publisher , marketing , promotion etc plz help

Why not try writing it in e-book form and then sell it online.
This way you will be able to keep all the profits for your self.

You have a large market to work with online and it will sell even when you are sleeping.

Failing that write your book and make plenty of copies to send to all the publishing houses and hopefully some one will take you on and publish it for you.

You may want to employ an agent for you as they have a lot of contacts and if they are a good agent they will be honest with you.
Never pay an agent up front. A good agent will take his/her money after they have secured a deal for you.

i can't say that being in college and taking english optionally available (or maybe eng. 111 and 112) have not reinforced my writing immensely. Their are publishers interested. But you have to get an appraisal from a well known celebrity, attach with that and approach publishers. If it is worth for publishing it will be done.
