I am moving into Marietta to go to school. I am about to leave in 2 hours for good. I am nervous, scared and feeling like I am going to be really lonely! What is there to do in Atlanta? Where can I meet new people?

Hey Lady. You can do about anything you want to do. If you like to party, you can go out to the many clubs that they have in the ATL. They even have grown and sexy clubs, the places that are a bit dressier than normal clubs. You can go shopping. Lennox Mall is one of the nicest malls I have ever been to and they have great stores there as well. Walking downtown is an experience all by its self. Any and everything you want can be found in downtown Atlanta. The Underground Station is another good spot. You can attend Major sporting events, Atlanta Braves baseball, Atlanta Falcons football, and Atlanta Hawks basketball. They also have many tourist attractions. The Martin Luther King Center is there along with Coca Cola World, a place to see how the soda began and evolved. There is also many colleges in the area so you can hang out there if that is your thing. The Atlanta University Center houses four colleges and there is always something going on around there. There is a lot to do. You will never run out of stuff to do. I hope this helps. Good luck!!!

there are a lot of clubs if you like going out and the people there are friendly for the most part
and school is the best place to start for making new friends
maybe join some clubs or activities to meet new people
