Well if I am drafting a weight-lifting team then maybe. If I am drafting a QB then NO. Who cares about Quinn's "numbers" when you factor they mostly came against Service Academies. Nothing against those schools either, but they aren't guys planning on playing for the NFL. When he played in Bowl games or USC he lost. He wasn't good against the top schools that had guys that were going to the NFL. That should be remembered.

I would much rather have Jamarcus Russel throwing 70 yard bombs down the field during a big game than Brady Quinn going 2-17 in a huge game. Jamarcus Russel sits on his knees at the 50 yard line and throws the ball through the goal posts. Tell me you dont want that on your team.

Yes, look at the last guy who had several good seasons then one year was a monster year. Kyle Boller of the Ravens, HE SUCKS and he sat on his knees and threw the ball through the goal posts... How many times will get the chance to throwt he ball that far in a game? How many times? Hardly ever... I would take Quinn, the more accurate passer, the guy groomed under the coach that made Tom Brady what he is... Quinn before Russell for sure...

No, this one is not even close. JaMarcus Russell has just too many pluses over Quinn. Stronger arm, more mobile, running threat, size, poise, etc. Russell is ranked as a top 5 pick, while Quinn is rated closer to number 20. There is just too much difference between the two to take Quinn over Russell.

JaMarcus Russell fits the Raiders better. Brady Quinn will go to Detriot. Good luck to both of them, both teams SUCK!

Prior to the bowl games Quinn probably would have been picked first. Russell wowed a lot of people with his size, athleticism and... the guy can throw the ball 80 YARDS!!! I think the Raiders are going to take Russell first.

With the Raiders having the #1 pick I do not see them taking Quinn over Russell. I actually think Quin won't go until #8, Miami.

Brady Quinn sucks! all these irish fans need to look at this guy for what he is.... a decent college qb that was playing in a very good system.... think Ryan Leaf, without the size and arm strenth. alot of NFL scouts don't think he should be a first day pick. Russell is the second coming of Rohan Davies..... i don't think either of these guys will make a good pro.

Absolutely NOT!!! Brady Quinn is nowhere near Russell in talent. Unless there is something we are not seeing, Quinn is going to be a bust in the NFL.
