berrry vines. They are VERY stickery and impossible to pull out of the ground. I want to kill them off-I've been told they harbor snakes- and I can't plant or weed for the vines. What and when should I use to kill them off?

Wild blackberries and raspberries are awful! The very best way, as you probably know, is to pull them out. If you can't get someone to do this for you, now in early spring is a good time to cut them off very close to the ground and paint remaining cut surfaces with a brush killer. That way, you'll do limited harm to the environment or your other plants. Then, when the vines are dead and begin to deteriorate, you'll be able to remove them.

There are many good brush and vine killers at Home depot etc.
