i can record but, my computer says "another application is playing. you can either interupt, or wait until it is done. then please try again. what is wrong with my computer. I have a gateway if that helps any.

try running the following two menus of ccleaner
cleaner > Analyze > Run Cleaner
issues > Scan For Issues > Fix Selected Issues

i have a gate way too and this happeneds some times unless you make sure to use the big fix feature just download the patches you need then itll run smooth again trust me i have to gateways i had to do this too

make sure u only have only one sound card driver by unistalling any sound driver previously installed that is not in use
