Also, how did The Mayor pick such a corrupt man as Bernard Kerik as police commisioner, when the appointment was fought by good police? Kerik was nominated for federal marshall or something, and reporters found out he is just a crook?
I just get tired of seeing Giuliani presented as big hero, when he even messed up before and after 9/11.

See i think you're a bit confused.. The weapons the assault weapon ban covers aren't military grade and none of them are even actual assault weapons.
Assault weapons are full auto and those have been illegal for decades without a lengthy background check, approval from your local chief of police, and tax stamp to the ATF. The weapons the ban covers just look evil according to the anti gun nuts. Rudy Giuliani turned New York City into a corrupt police state. He knows gun control doesn't work even DC's mayor has admitted that gun control only disarms law abiding citizens and not criminals .Giuliani is no hero and personally i don't think he stands a chance at being elected.

I guess you would prefer Hillary who has done absolutely nothing for America. Rudy was there for New York when she needed him and he helped pull the whole nation together when we were attacked by the terrorists. I disagree with Rudy on many issues but I believe he is a good man with America's best interests at heart.

I am a social Conservative, and would never vote for Guiliani. I do believe the media has made this womanizing, cheating, kids leaving man out to be something he is obviously NOT.

As a libertarian, I find it funny that conservatives read the riot act to "liberals" for taking away gun rights, when it was republicans who seem to be behind it the most.
